Natalya Silk PJs Selected Best Silk Pajamas for Women by NYT’s Wirecutter

Allow us to pat ourselves on the back for a moment.  After crawling out from under the Christmas and Valentines holidays, a warehouse move, and Mother’s Day sales, the dust has finally settled long enough for us to notice that the New York Time’s product review site “Wirecutter” selected our Natalya Silk Pajamas as the Best Silk PJs for Women in their Best Pajamas Review this past February. 

As many of you know, Wirecutter has emerged as one of the most popular and trusted product review sources online.  Sort of the Consumer Reports for the digital age.  Wirecutter reviews products by category and then conducts research and tests to determine which products in a given category they would recommend to their readers.  

Wirecutter cited many details of the Natalya that they loved but at the top of the list was our fabric, about which they remarked, “Of all the sets we tested, this one had the best fabric—thick, lustrous silk that doesn’t need dry cleaning. These pajamas are beautifully made, right down to the notched piping detail on the hem.”  

Thank you NYT’s Wirecutter for confirming what our customers already know… the Natalya is a fan favorite because of the classic tailored look and its sumptuous silk. We agree! And there’s a reason for it. Our silk weight is 19 mummi (mm) and it is made exclusively for us, with particular attention to the luster and endurance of the fabric.  19mm is a wonderful weight for sleepwear because if it were any heavier it becomes more like ready-to-wear clothing and bedding weight (we see you hot and feisty sleepers!). Any lighter and your silk feels sheer and crinkly. Our silk is woven with thousands and thousands of sumptuous silk threads making it super soft and a true luxury to wear.  

Besides the silk, Wirecutter also loved the construction and quality of the Natalya and the classic design and look.  Customers also seem to agree with NYT’s popular review site because the Natalya is also one of our best sellers!  We know looking good is important and that’s why we take care in every style we design to make sure the fit and comfort are perfect first.  Our pajamas feature roomy but also tailored cuts, great designs, and colors, a fab fit, and are beautiful to look at too!  That’s why we are particularly proud of the fact that the New York Times Wirecutter fell in love with the Natalya.
