The look of someone in a bathrobe says it all, doesn’t it? Worn at the right moment, robes shout super sexy, cozy comfort, or down and out. The robe is so iconic that it’s often used in movies to convey a mood or set a scene. Can anyone dispute the mood of Bill Murray sitting on the side of a bed in his robe and slippers in the movie Lost in Translation?
And what about your own go-to bathrobe? Wrapping up at the end of the day (or beginning even) in a robe made of silk, lace, satin, or something fantastically fluffy is so comforting. No matter the fabric or style a robe that you love will almost always make you feel like a movie star in your own story!
Our very own robes have been selected as costumes in TV shows like the Ariadne Silk Robe which was worn in Blood and Oil, and Anni Murphy’s character, Alexis, in the popular show Schitt’s Creek is shown draped in our fan-favorite Heavenly Spa Robe. Since we love robes so much we thought it would be fun to take a look at 12 movies with iconic bathrobe scenes.

Randy Quaid National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
